Iron Dog 2025: Robby Schachle, Bradley George earn 2nd Iron Dog victory
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - The 41st edition of the Iron Dog has champions, and the crowns belong to Team 20.
Robby Schachle and Bradley George crossed the Big Lake finish line around 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, clinching their second Iron Dog victory together.
“The excitements unreal, I can’t really explain it,” Schachle said.
The Ski-Doo duo last won the Iron Dog in 2021, with this race putting them at ease much faster.
“Last time we won, we didn’t know we won. This time it was like ‘We actually did it,’ George said.
Team 14 (Casey Boylan, Bryan Leslie) and 7 (Tyler Aklestad, Aaron Loyer) placed second and third respectively. The final leaderboard means Team 14 has now placed second in the Iron Dog for three consecutive years.
