Weather Lab: Airport Heights students learn about weather with the Cat in the Hat

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - From snow to tornadoes, some of the youngest learners at Airport Heights Elementary are learning about meteorology.
In this week’s Weather Lab, Chief Meteorologist Melissa Frey joined the kindergarten, first grade, and life skills classes to share how fun it can be to study the weather.
With a little help from Dr. Seuss and the Cat in the Hat, Melissa was able to show these students how meteorologists predict the weather.
