Weather Lab: Williwaw students learn how air expands and contracts

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - In this week’s Weather Lab, Chief Meteorologist Melissa Frey takes us to Williwaw Elementary School where the students are learning why hot air rises and cold air sinks.

These young scientists have been studying meteorology this year and got to show Melissa how much they already know about the instruments she uses to forecast the weather.
