ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - In this week’s Weather Lab, we head to Wonder Park Elementary School in Anchorage.

They may be some of the youngest learners at Wonder Park, but these kindergartners are very observant. They know their local geography, and how to track the temperature using thermometers, and they can even tell you why we gain so much daylight this time of year.

Check out their Weather Lab lesson with Chief Meteorologist Melissa Frey.

Next week, Melissa takes us to College Gate Elementary for their annual science fair and STEM night.
