Weather Lab: Goldenview video production students keep their school community informed, entertained

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - From Mindful Monday to Trendy Thursday the 7th and 8th graders at Goldenview Middle School are keeping their school informed through daily video announcements.
As an elective class, students learn how to gather information, conduct interviews, film and edit videos, and how to anchor the news.
In this week’s Weather Lab, Chief Meteorologist Melissa Frey steps off the weather green screen and into the Goldenview production studio where the students give her a behind-the-scenes tour while she co-anchors the news for the day.
