Alaska skies burst with colors amid New Year’s celebrations

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Mother Nature brought the party to thousands of Alaskans celebrating the arrival of 2025.
Dazzling aurora displays spread overnight throughout the 49th State, and pictures of purple, pink and green auroras filled up social media feeds, group chats and Alaska’s News Source’s inbox.
