School Closures: All region 6 schools in Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District closed Monday

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - All Region 6 schools in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough will be closed on Monday, Jan. 27, according to the school district.
John Notestine, the Public Information Officer for the district, cited hazardous weather conditions and power outages.
The schools that are affected are Su-Valley Jr/Sr. High, as well as Talkeetna, Trapper Creek and Willow Elementary Schools.
