“Every year, we go to the bread line and we help give food to the homeless,” Gray said. “Whenever there are any cultural events, we go and help with that, like my mom and me went to go help with elderly care.”

Gray’s past achievements include an award for being a Great American Citizen through her school and first place in the district science fair. She said she is proud of her accomplishments so far.

“It means a lot to me to be the first student of the month, especially by the mayor,” Gray said. “It makes me super happy to get this many achievements at this age.”

Gray said she’s got her motivation from the people around her.

“They’re some of my best friends,” she said. “They make me super happy and they contribute to the person I am today.”

Gray said her mission is to help the community members who need it the most.

“My goal is to make everyone happy and to make them feel like there’s someone there for them, to help them and care for them,” Gray said.
