Taste of Spenard Food Truck Festival kicks off 2025 Summer Season
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - It was a tasty weekend if you spent time in Spenard, as they held their first “A Taste of Spenard” food truck festival, kicking off the summer food season.
Some of the folks who stopped by for the festival were all in the mood for different types of food. There were Cajun fries, shrimp po boys, salmon nachos, perogies, and some classic lunchtime staples like chicken nuggets.
Food wasn’t the only thing bringing people out.
“It’s great being out with my family, being outside and enjoying food together, so it’s awesome,” Daniel Weaber said.
Some folks showed up with no plan but found what they were looking for.
“We didn’t really have a game plan before coming here. We kind of just wanted to walk around, see what looked good, and then just order from there,” Kate Sidro said.
