Shooting off Bragaw leaves one man injured
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Anchorage Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured off Bragaw Street Sunday evening.
According to the Anchorage Police Department, their dispatch received multiple reports of gunshots heard in the area of 4th Avenue and Bragaw Street around 8:25 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers reported finding several shell casings in the roadway, prompting the closure of both southbound and northbound lanes for the investigation. Lanes reopened shortly before 11 p.m.
While on scene, officers also encountered an adult man who had been grazed by a stray bullet. He received medical attention on-site and did not require hospitalization.
APD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, seen the suspects, or has video footage to please call the non-emergency line 3-1-1.
