PORTAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - In this Roadtrippin’ Adventure, Melissa Frey and photojournalist John Perry take us out of the city and into Alaska’s scenic backcountry with a float trip to Spencer Glacier.

The Alaska Railroad’s Glacier Discovery train is the only transportation available in this remote wilderness spot south of Portage on the Kenai Peninsula.
