Dimond High School employee placed on administrative leave, district says
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - The Anchorage School District has confirmed a Dimond High School employee has been placed on administrative leave after Alaska’s News Source reached out with questions about a social media post about a teacher.
The district responded with Principal Tina Johnson-Harris’ short statement to Dimond High School families.
“We want to provide an update about community concerns relating to a member of our staff,” Johnson-Harris wrote. “The employee has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of our investigation. We understand you have many questions. However, because this is a personnel matter, we cannot provide additional information at this time.”
Beyond sending Alaska’s News Source Johnson-Harris’ statement, the district offered no additional information.
